What is the DMCA?

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is an amendment to the United States Copyright Act that addressed the relationship between copyright and the internet.

Among other things, the DMCA sets forth a notice and takedown process for hosting providers, the Learneo Service Course Hero, which allows copyright owners to inform us about infringing material so it can be taken down.  To learn about our notice and takedown process, please review our Copyright Policy .
