How can I pause my account, and many times can I do so?
We know there are times when you won't be using Course Hero—like over the summer or during winter break—so Premier Memberships bought through our website can be paused once per month.
- If you bought your subscription online through our website: To pause your membership, go to your account settings and then click on the **Pause Membership** button. You may pause your account in increments of 1, 2, or 3 months, and it is completely free to do so. You can wait to use your account until it automatically resumes from a pause, or you can opt to manually resume it at any time. Please note, once your membership resumes from a pause (whether automatically or you choose to start it), the clock begins to run on your subscription again and you cannot pause again for another 30 days.
- If you bought your subscription through the Android Play or through Apple's iTunes through our App: Subscriptions purchased through the Google Play Store or through Apples’ iTunes are not able to be paused.
